Move Dogecoin. The new Memecoin that makes waves in the inner sanctuary of Tech Twitter is more than just fun. It’s about thinking.
Mog Coin, a popular token offered on Ethereum and Base, is about to bring about cultural change as “Mog/Acc.” Mogging mashup (slang to be better, stronger and faster) and accelerationism (speeding up technological change at all costs).
Techno Optimist is quickly wearing the flashy sunglasses brand Pit Vipers as an X-account display, leading to Mindshare, a Mog token outside of Crypto Circles.
All influential X accounts from Y Combinator founder Garry Tan to owner Elon Musk have joined the Mog/ACC train and changed the display to one wearing a pit Viper. MOG prices have risen by more than 11% in the past week, extending their 30-day profit to more than 130%.
Solana Ecosystem Firms such as Raydium and Jupiter have joined in, changing their online display to cats or mascots, wearing pit Vipers and stating “Mog/Acc.”

Members of the community have built a MOG/ACC bot that automatically converts any display into an aesthetic The MOG/ACC follower, as their accounts have been in viral since its launch early Wednesday.

But what is mog/acc anyway? The followers have a very specific view of that.
“Mog Accelerationism is an extension of Mog Memetics into the realm of technological advancement,” Memecoin thought leader @Virotechnics told Coindesk in a telegram message. “It’s about winning, competing and performing in everything.”
“Accelerationism is a philosophy of technological advancement, speeding up its pace and ensuring it is made at any cost. Mog/acc is a hybrid of two. And it is a perfect integration – the two ideas complement each other well, and the memes spread the philosophy,” he added.
Online slang accelerationism, or “ACC,” is the idea that humans should speed up technological advancements regardless of cost. Whether it’s AI, Crypto, Biotech, or automation, the point is to go faster, break things and move forward in the future.
This has produced effective accelerationism (E/ACC). This is a recent spin that seeks to make accelerationism practical, not just memes. Minded subscribers include early crypto investor Balaji Srinivasan.
In 2023, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin shared his own version of E/ACC as D/ACC or defensive accelerator.
So MOG/ACC isn’t just piggybacks from existing accelerationist trends. It has transformed into its own, obviously Internet native philosophy.
E/ACC makes the future intelligent, D/ACC makes it moral, and Mog/Acc exists. The followers strip the sink piece in favor of flashy avatars and shared language of victory.
It has not yet been seen whether Mog will become more than a coin or if it has an atmosphere. But for now, it’s a serious identity play.
