Cryptocurrency Exchange Binance has announced that it will remove the “Monitoring Tags” and “Seed Tags” applications in several tokens as of July 9, 2025, as a result of its latest evaluation.
Binance removes ZEC tracking tags, ENA, Pyth, Tao and W seed tags
Token to remove tracking tags:
Token to remove seed tags:
- Esena (Ena)
- Pyth Network (Pyth)
- Bitensar (Tao)
- Wormhole (W)
Binance points out that tokens with a “watch tag” generally pose higher volatility and risk than other crypto assets.
These tokens are subject to regular reviews and may be at risk of being removed from the platform. “Seed tags” identify new and innovative projects, which can pose high risk and volatility.
The removal of the label indicates that the project in question is more consistent with Binance’s listing criteria and its risk profile has decreased.
Binance said it will review labeling decisions regularly based on the following criteria:
- Project Team Commitment
- Level and quality of development activities
- Transaction volume and liquidity
- Network security and resilience to attacks
- Public communication, community engagement, transparency
- Responding to periodic due diligence requests
- Unethical or fraudulent activity discovery
- New regulatory requirements
- A sudden increase in token supply or tokenomics changes
- Significant changes to project ownership or core team
- Community Response
This update removes warning labels for ZEC, ENA, Pyth, Tao and W Tokens, allowing investors to make a clearer rating.
