Skyline launches bAP3X on the Base network, bringing seamless interoperability with Apex Fusion’s AP3X token cross-chain utility to Coinbase’s EVM-compatible ecosystem.
Skyline, a leader in cross-chain interoperability and part of the Apex Fusion ecosystem, announced the deployment of bAP3X on the Base network. This release brings a bridge version of Apex Fusion’s native AP3X token to the Coinbase-incubated Base network for the first time.
Implemented by Skyline using LayerZero’s Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard, bAP3X, known as “Based Apex,” brings the utility of the Apex Fusion ecosystem directly to Base. This deployment makes the AP3X token fully bridgeable, extending its functionality beyond Apex Fusion’s native tri-chain architecture to Base’s deep liquidity and developer-friendly environment.
The launch of bAP3X marks the marriage of Apex Fusion’s interoperability vision and Base’s scalability, building the foundation for a new era of cross-chain DeFi. This deployment leverages Skyline’s advanced blade EVM technology to ensure interoperability in production environments. This infrastructure allows native Apex Fusion assets to move fluidly between the UTXO and EVM tiers and extend directly to Base.
This introduction allows bAP3X to gain instant traction across major Base protocols and applications. Currently, the liquidity pool is operational at the airfield and incentives are triggered through Merkl. Additionally, bAP3X runs on QuickSwap, further expanding liquidity across the ecosystem.
bAP3X marks an important milestone in Apex Fusion’s multi-chain strategy by breaking the seamless connection between the Apex Fusion, Cardano, and Coinbase ecosystems. The token is fully bridgeable via LayerZero OFT for cross-chain transfers and is designed based on FINMA guidance for compliant token utility.
Skyline’s infrastructure now allows you to extend any token launched in Apex Fusion to Base, allowing you to deploy Base-native projects into your Apex Fusion environment.
