In what some may see as a unique and slightly dystopian use of artificial intelligence, a cryptocurrency developer has launched a website that allows AI agents to rent humans to perform tasks in “meat space.”
In a post via X on Monday, user Alex aka @AlexanderTw33ts, an engineer at decentralized finance platform Uma Protocol and Layer 2 bridging solution Across Protocol, shared a video of his website “rentahuman.ai” in action.
The site allows humans to set hourly rates and AI agents to hire humans for everything from running simple errands to attending business meetings, taking photos, signing documents, and even making purchases.
Alex said the hires already include CEOs of OnlyFans models and AI startups, adding:
“If an AI agent wants to hire someone to perform an IRL task, it only needs to call the MCP once.”

The website states that robots “can’t touch grass” and that “robots need your body,” while also billing themselves as the “meatspace layer of AI.”
The main page displays a selection of available talent, an “Available for Rent” button, and metrics for the growth of the platform.
So far, the site claims about 26,000 people have already registered. However, this could include multiple accounts owned by the same person or accounts impersonating someone else, and Alex said he is working to patch it.
Alex also confirmed that there will be no cryptocurrencies attached to the platform after sharing details of the project in an interview as part of Across Protocol’s Cross Chain Podcast on Tuesday.
“There are no tokens. I’m not interested in that. It’s too stressful and I also don’t want a lot of people losing money,” he said.

Adding another layer of obscurity to the project, Alex said the website was built through “vibe coding” by an “army” of Claude-based AI agents.
This was achieved through Ralph Loops, a technique that runs an AI coding agent in a loop until a task is completed.
“I think we’ve come out of the valley of disillusionment[with AI capabilities]and now people are starting to realize that they can ship real code with this, that they can just write a prompt, that they can build a website in their sleep with Ralph Loops,” he said.
“Ralph Loop actually created this (website). I’m running a custom Ralph Loop,” he added.
This won’t be the only strange AI agent website to appear in 2026. Moltbook, a social media platform for AI agents, made headlines this month.
The website is also a result of vibecoding and is designed entirely as a Reddit-like platform for AI bots, drawing attention from the bizarre discussions that take place on the platform, including bots bringing up their own religions.
