AIW3 has entered into a strategic partnership with Snowball Labs to strengthen its decentralized trading infrastructure, account, payment and risk layers. The partnership aims to provide identity abstraction, cross-chain settlement, and real-time risk attribution to decentralized persistent markets.

While stablecoins and real-world assets (RWA) are being moved on-chain, both companies agree that execution speed alone is no longer enough. Rather, structured identity systems, secure payment rails, and open risk intelligence are needed to facilitate scalable capital alignment in institutional markets.
Address the missing demographic in the on-chain market
Although decentralized finance has advanced rapidly, much of the infrastructure is still based on raw wallet addresses and disjointed liquidity rails. As stated in the announcement, the partnership is expected to minimize address exposure risk and enhance compliance preparedness and capital efficiency.
According to Snowball Labs, it provides a universal identity and payment layer for humans and autonomous agents. With this integration, AIW3 powers strategy architectures with identity-sensitive payment rails and ordered risk signals.
Together, the two companies aim to make decentralized perpetual markets more transparent, interoperable, and available to institutions.
Core infrastructure: MNS, CIP, ORS, Snowball wallet
The Snowball infrastructure stack is the heart of the collaboration, consisting of four major components.
- Modular Naming Service (MNS) is the introduction of chain-independent username accounts. Vault administrators and traders can use a single ID instead of communicating with each other using complex alphanumeric wallet addresses. This abstraction allows strategies to build verifiable reputations and allows for decentralization of capital adjustments.
- Cross-Identity Payments (CIP) provides programmable cross-chain payments. Supports the free flow of capital across all AIW3 vaults and strategies on multiple chains without the use of traditional bridges or token wrapping systems. Capital may be deployed if an alpha opportunity exists and settles quickly.
- On-chain risk signals (ORS) introduce an on-chain attribution layer. ORS overlays risk intelligence onto AIW3’s strategic infrastructure to generate compliance-ready signals. Liquidity providers will have better visibility into counterparty risks and capital flows will be more auditable and transparent.
- This stack makes Snowball Wallet a mobile-first smart DeFi wallet that aims to unify identity, payments, and risk attribution into one user-facing experience.
Strengthening strategy execution architecture
AIW3 is building identity-aware infrastructure into operational systems through partnerships. This allows strategic managers to conduct their work using structured accounts rather than anonymous addresses, increasing security and accountability.
Snowball improves account safety and attribution in active trading systems. By overlaying identity and risk signals with strategy execution, the companies minimize systemic friction within decentralized markets.
This cooperation also responds to the growing institutional need to address structural compliance.
As more substantial capital allocators consider different strategies of diversification, diversification techniques and transparent risk measures are needed. These expectations are met through the mechanisms of ORS and MNS, which do not imply a violation of the decentralization principle.
Preparing for an organization-wide decentralized market with AIW3
This collaboration can be seen as an extension of trends in the digital asset market. With the growth of stablecoins and tokenized real-world assets, infrastructure needs to go beyond simple transaction execution.
Identity abstraction facilitates interaction between users and reputation mobility. Clear and programmable payments provide on-chain capital effectiveness. Risk attribution increases trust between liquidity providers, traders, and vault managers.
AIW3 and Snowball Labs aim to create a layer of structure beneath decentralized persistent markets by linking strategic architecture with secure on-chain account infrastructure.
