Crypto.com Exchange guides users step-by-step, creating a secure and smooth path to connect to OpenClaw. These steps are very simple and easy to follow to access your account. Moreover, Crypto.com offers this service to all types of users, regardless of their background in the market. In this way, users will be able to trade with the help of automated AI agents. Crypto.com revealed this news through their official social media X account.
A Practical Guide to Crypto.com Subaccounts and API Configuration
The first step for users to manage their accounts. For this purpose, users simply need to click on the profile icon in the top right corner of the dashboard to begin logging into their Crypto.com Exchange account. From there, you need to select (Manage Account). The second step of creating a subaccount will then begin. The need for this subaccount is basically to ensure security and better organization.
Users should create sub-accounts by simply clicking a button on the account management page. Once your subaccount is successfully created, simply place a descriptive label such as OpenClaw2 for easy identification. At this stage, the user needs to confirm the subaccount by clicking on the confirm button. After completing the sub-account steps, the user must tap API Management to retrieve the API key settings.
Two-factor authentication and IP whitelisting for more secure automation
Users will need to create a new API key. To do so, you need to click on the (Account) dropdown, select the newly created subaccount, and click (Create new API key) to start the API creation process. The next step is to enter the label of your API key, such as OpenClaw2, and provide the 2FA code from your authenticator app for security verification. You have now successfully created your API credentials. The private key is only visible once, so copy it immediately to protect it.
In the final step, users need to configure API permissions by simply clicking the edit button. This enables essential permissions for OpenClaw to function smoothly and adds the OpenClaw server’s IP address to the whitelist. Proceed with the 2FA code and confirm the changes to connect your Crypto.com Exchange account to Automated OpenClaw. The entire automated trading process takes just a few minutes.
