Binance has confirmed that it will support token swaps and rebranding of the AI16Z token to ELIZAOS as part of the broader ecosystem upgrade of its Alpha 2.0 platform. The move aims to streamline the interoperability of AI-powered applications across multiple blockchain networks.
According to an announcement released on October 31st, Binance Alpha and Binance Futures will facilitate a rebranding and denomination process starting on November 6th. Trading in AI16Z (AI16Z) will be temporarily halted from 10:00 UTC on the same day to allow exchange of tokens.
All AI16Z tokens held in your Binance Alpha 2.0 account will be automatically converted to ELIZAOS at a ratio of 1:6. Trading and depositing new ELIZAOS tokens will resume on November 7th at 02:00 UTC. Binance emphasized that users should ensure that all AI16Z deposits are completed before the suspension begins, as AI16Z will no longer be supported after the transition.

On Binance Futures, all open positions in the AI16ZUSDT perpetual contract will be automatically closed and settled on November 6th at 09:00 UTC. New positions will be blocked from 08:30 UTC. The agreement will be permanently removed following the settlement, and details of the relisting will be shared at a later date. Clearing assistance is not available from the Futures Insurance Fund during the last hour before settlement.
The total supply of Elizaos reaches 11 billion
After the migration, the total supply of ELIZAOS will increase from 6.6 billion tokens to 11 billion tokens. Distribution supply will immediately increase to 7.4 billion units, and distribution details will be announced separately.
The AI16Z token originally served as the native asset of Auto.fun, an autonomous AI agent platform. The rebrand to ELIZAOS represents a major shift towards a more scalable and interoperable infrastructure. Inspired by the original ELIZA chatbot from the 1960s, the new branding reflects the platform’s evolution towards more generative AI capabilities.
In September, the Auto.fun project launched a transition portal for token swaps, stating that the transition was necessary to power decentralized AI operations across Solana, Base, Ethereum, and other chains. ELIZAOS acts as a cross-chain utility token, eliminating the need for bridge-based transfers and increasing efficiency across the $20 billion AI ecosystem powered by ELIZAOS.
