Humanity Protocol officially launched its mainnet and introduced a unified identity layer that connects Web2 credentials to a distributed Web3 service via Zero Knowledge Transport Layer Security (ZKTLS).
This technology allows users to verify their credentials, such as job titles and university transcripts, without revealing their personal data. At launch, travelers will link frequent flyer and loyalty accounts from major airlines and hotel groups such as Delta, Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Marriott and Hilton to human IDs, creating a portable reputation for both Web2 and Web3 applications. CEO Terence Kwok emphasized that the mainnet release translates decentralized identities into real infrastructure, allowing users to see their identity while maintaining privacy. The network provides developers with the opportunity to create a civil-resistant social platform and reputation-based marketplace, further expanding use cases for human protocols.
