South Korea-based cryptocurrency Exchange Upbit has announced a new list. The exchange announced that it will open trading of Lagrange (LA) tokens in the KRW market on September 18, 2025.
Upbit to list Lagrange (LA) tokens in the KRW market
According to the announcement, LA token transactions supported via the Ethereum Network will begin at 7:30pm.
Upbit emphasized that users should only use Ethereum Network for deposits and withdrawals. We noted that the refund process for transfers made over the wrong network can be long and tedious. We also noted that if sufficient liquidity is not available, transaction start times may be delayed.
The exchange also announced that a series of temporary trading restrictions will be in place during the opening of the market. Buy orders will be restricted for the first five minutes after trading begins, and sell orders with a closing price of less than 10% the previous day will be rejected during the same period. Only limit orders will be accepted for the first 2 hours.
According to the data, the previous day’s closing price of the LA token was recorded at 0.00000327 BTC (528 KRW) in the Upbit BTC market.
Technically, the Lagrangian (LA) network provides infrastructure based on Zero Knowledge Proof (ZKP) technology. This project uses a special structure called “Prover Network” to improve scalability. LA tokens are used for functions such as staking, participation in governance, and paying network fees.
With this list, Upbit offers users in the Korean market the opportunity to invest in Lagrange, one of the next-generation blockchain projects based on ZKP.
