Bull Wallet, a self-custodial Bitcoin-only mobile wallet focused on privacy and low-fee payments, is now available globally on iOS and Android, its developers have announced.
The app combines on-chain Bitcoin, Lightning Network, and Liquid support with non-custodial atomic swaps (powered by Boltz) to allow users to send and receive between networks. It also includes automatic swaps for moving Liquid funds on-chain and offers features such as BIP39 mnemonics, SegWit descriptor-based accounts, coin selection, watch-only imports, and optional connection to personal nodes.
Targeted at both cypherpunks and beginners, Bull is open source, with reproducible builds planned, and prioritizes privacy with encrypted secrets, a secure keyboard, no push notifications or IP tracking, support for PayJoin, and confidential Liquid UTXO. The app already supports Coldcard hardware wallets and promises further hardware integration, multisig/miniscripts, LN addresses, silent payments, and other upgrades. Android users can optionally connect to the native Bull Bitcoin exchange.
