Celestia, a well-known modular blockchain ecosystem, has announced the launch of the MAMO-1. MAMO-1 is the only public testnet to date, generating 128MB blocks every 6 seconds, at 21.33MB/s with allowed data throughput. This throughput level is 16 times higher than the current Celestia Mainnet.
MAMO-1 is designed to test scalability features and test Celestia’s ability to process huge amounts of data. According to Celestia, MAMO-1 offers an increased throughput level, along with an additional accessible and resilient form to the broader developer community.
The main features of MAMO-1 include vacuum and pull-based broadcast trees. These enhancements increase efficient data routing, throughput and reliability. This solution allows developers to perform comprehensive stress testing of their applications to increase their contribution to the ecosystem.
