US Cryptocurrency Exchange Coinbase has added several Altcoins, including SEI, Pepe and Pump, to its list of tokens supported as collateral for permanent futures trading.

The pump and aero tokens were among those gathered on Friday after the announcement, gaining wider market trends as Top Coin cut profits along the stock. The negative side momentum of key digital assets emerged as stocks reversed profits following the latest US employment data.

Dex trading support
Coinbase’s move is based on previous integrations in which Top Exchange added 12 cryptocurrencies as eligible collateral for futures trading. Added in June 2025 includes Aave and Near.
In particular, US listed companies have recently expanded their permanent futures leverage cap on the platform from 20x to 50x. 50x leverage of supported assets is accessible to Coinbase Advanced and institutional retail users via Coinbase Advanced and Coinbase International Exchange. Non-US permanent futures support is available in eligible jurisdictions.
Recently, the platform has integrated persistent futures for Horizen, UMA and GMX into both Coinbase International Exchange and Coinbase Advanced.
In August, Coinbase announced it was deploying its products to select US-based users to support decentralized exchange transactions. Dex Trading allows users to discover and trade a variety of basic native tokens, such as Virtuals AI agents and SOSO value indexes within the Coinbase app.
