Coinbase, the largest exchange in the US by trading volume, has added three new Altcoins to its listing roadmap, demonstrating future listing possibilities.
Tokens include Bankrcoin (BNKR), Jito Staked Sol (Jitosol), and Metaplex (MPLX). Notably, the announcement caused a surge in prices for all three, with BNKR seeing its biggest double-digit pump.
Coinbase adds to the roadmap listing BNKR, Jitosol and MPLX
The exchange announced its decision in a recent post on X (formerly Twitter). The announcement included contract addresses for each asset.
- BNKR base network address: 0x22533FE49FD1FA80C714973DDE5890D3C76F3B.
- jitosol: j1toso1uck3rlmjorhttrvwy9hj7x8v9yyac6y7kgcpn
- MPLX: Metaewgxypbgwsseh8t16a39cq5vyvxzi9zxidpy18m
However, Coinbase emphasized that the initiation of trading on these assets depends on ensuring market establishment and the establishment of adequate technical infrastructure. Once these conditions are met, the exchange will make another announcement confirming the opening date.
“Transfers and trading are not supported for these or other assets until these assets are officially announced before the official announcement leads to permanent loss of capital,” the exchange said.
Meanwhile, the market’s response to the news was quick. Bankr AI Agent’s official token, BNKR, experienced a significant price surge, up about 40.54%. Prices rose from around $0.00037 to $0.00052.
However, at the time of writing, the token was to trade a portion of its profits for $0.00046. This still represents a 29% increase over the last 24 hours.

Following MPLX, a 12.08% increase rose from $0.149 to $0.167. Nevertheless, it then saw a sudden fall. According to the latest market data, Altcoin was trading at $0.160, down 4.6% in the past day.
Finally, Jitosol, the liquid staking derivative of the Solana blockchain, saw a modest 3% increase despite its short dip. It was traded at $246 at press time.
The addition of BNKR, Jitosol and MPLX follows Coinbase’s rigorous review process, which assesses assets against legal, compliance and technical security standards. The assets will be added to QCAD (QCAD). This has remained on the roadmap for quite some time.
Nevertheless, Altcoins such as Fartcoin (Fartcoin), Subsquid (SQD), and Sky (Sky) were listed shortly after the addition of the roadmap. Therefore, exchanges may take a similar approach to modern additions.
If the list continues, a more price surge is not unexpected. Following the Coinbase list, the increased exposure and liquidity that usually comes with these lists result in a significant price increase.
