With countless crypto projects being tireless to rebuild Wall Street, the relatively novelty focuses on the Guinness World Records.
Prerequisite: skateboarding history will be made, or a group of supporters will accept their ambitions and settle them quickly.
For three weeks, “Photos or It Didn’t Happen” – a little-known project called Poid – has encouraged people to skateboard more than 36 kickflips in a minute.
Kick flips are skateboard tricks that combine ollie and front foot flicks to rotate 360 degrees along the vertical axis in the air. That requires skill. Doing that will break the current world record 37 times in a minute.
nevertheless Prize It was worth $28,000 on Friday, and only one person photographed himself as he hits the pavement. Official title – Perguise Website-Stayed in Australia since 2012 with professional skater and streamer Ricky Glaser.
It was a long time before the social media protocol Farcaster was present. Like Degen, it is an unofficial token that is primarily used for hints between users. And The Haberdashery is an independent group of Degen owners who like to receive tokens for free and sometimes bankroll things.
The founder of Poidh’s pseudonym attended Kenny, who is also a member of Haberdashery. He said Decryption His interest in Crypto’s “the possibility of organizing humans to get things done in the real world” dates back to discovering his space over a decade ago. But in the past few years, Kenny has been trying to bootstrap his vision.

Given Poid’s Kenny shares, he said the contribution of Harbor Dasherry’s 3.3 million Degen, representing a third of the total prize money, is an ambiguous marketing tactic. Still, the initiative reflects the spirit of a Constitution-like group famous for its unfortunate attempt to purchase an original copy of the US Constitution at its 2021 auction.
Kenny explained that poids are rooted in some of the same principles as decentralized autonomous organizations, or DAOs. In its most common form, DAOs are used to fund and manage projects. Poidh basically hosts a miniature version of DAO. DAOS can focus on anything, such as kickflips, finding “rat hotspots” in New York City.
Kenny said the platform is self-supporting. Unless someone is actively trying to prove that they have completed their bounty, anyone who donates funds to the prize can always recover them, he added. To allow payment, contributors must vote, which he continues, weighs against the amount they have made.
Poid is designed to restore money like nothing happened to anyone if the bounty supporter no longer wants to support it, Kenny explained. Poid will charge a 2.5% fee for the completed bounty, he said.
“There aren’t many use cases where you feel you can show it to your friends and family and be proud of your industry,” Kenny recalls, saying that the famous collapse of FTX in 2022 made him annoyed. Kenny said he mainly works as an SEO consultant.
Certainly, Poid doesn’t pay cash prizes. It kicked out Ethereum and Degen, and Kenny said the platform’s biggest prize money was still down from $30,000 as a result.
“Prices will go up or down based on funds added or withdrawn and the fluctuations in the underlying code,” he said, referring to Poid’s bounty.
Since its debut, approximately 2,500 Poid Bounties have been created. However, according to only 1,400 completed successfully Dune Dashboard.
“I’m speechless.”
The skateboarder going on JD with X said he’s pushing 32, Decryption So far, that six hours of effort has produced several results.
JD said he had at least several sessions, but the rain condition makes it difficult to cause additional stabs. Less than a week later, JD shared a video of completing 26 kickflips on his skateboard in 39 seconds.
“After you reach 25, it’s really hard and tedious, but you just have to fight to make the final stretch come true,” he said. “If I really win that amount, I’ll be speechless.”

JD said he is likely to use some of his bounty to catch up with his debt and pay his expired bill. But he’s not the only one aiming for the Guinness title Glaser held.
Professional skateboarder Alex DeCunha recorded a video of himself breaking Glaser’s records in 2021, but Glaser still appears to be the official record holder. in conversation Between the two, Glaser admitted that “submitting so many documents to Guinness” would take forever.
Poidh’s prize money is quite specific in that respect. Those who want to claim their prize well, including visible timers and disadvantaged timers, are pretty specific, in addition to having to “verify” that they have “verified” by Guinness as described.
“This is for Degen,” he adds.
Some pseudonym skaters may be hesitant to reveal their names, but professional skateboarder Dave Bachinski has signal Poid says he’s running with JD. x has a Glazer Called Grace is “sickness,” increasing the chances of participating in the contest themselves.
Decryption I contacted Glazer and Bachinski for comments.
