Controversial theory by Versan Aljarrah, founder of Black Swan Capitalist, suggests that Bitcoin may serve as digital collateral to support Ripple’s liquidity corridor.
His hypothesis suggests that BTC funds Ripple’s On-Demand Liquidity (ODL) system and may be playing a more active role than previously understood.
Bitcoin as an invisible liquidity support
In the case of truth, theory challenges the idea that Bitcoin and Ripple work alone.
Instead, it suggests strategic relationships between key digital assets and deeper integration within the global financial infrastructure.
Aljarrah proposes that Ripple’s Global Payments Network (where XRP was built as a bridge asset for cross-border transactions) will be quietly supported by Bitcoin.
In this view, BTC acts as a backstage collateral, injecting stored value into Ripple’s ecosystem to facilitate institutional payments.
He argues that this process could take place without public awareness, allowing Ripple to scale the system while taking advantage of the stability of Bitcoin’s relative value.
This reconstructs Bitcoin’s role as a critical source of liquidity for Ripple, as it is a “digital gold” asset.
It suggests that BTC is more than a valuable passive reservoir and could instead serve as a ramp to active financial infrastructure.
Towards a hybrid financial architecture
Aljarrah sees this possible interaction as part of a broader strategy. Bitcoin acts as a decentralized reserve, but Ripple uses ODL technology to efficiently mobilize its value for real-time financing.

Such a structure can optimize the use of both assets and enable hybrid financial architectures. This model could bridge cryptosystems with traditional funds and provide a faster, more scalable international capital movement.
Aljara is unfamiliar with bold claims. In March, he suggested that global institutions were pre-setting XRP prices, infuriating debate in the crypto community.
He also argued that central banks may already be secretly using XRP, comparing current market value to a pre-IPO stage.
