Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin gained attention for various meme token sales and ETH transfers, according to data shared by onchain analytics platform Onchain Lens.
Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin holds multi-token sale and transfers 70 ETH via Railgun
Buterin sold 40.25 billion SPURDO, 10.31 billion MARVIN, and 6 trillion DOJO tokens for a total of 22.14 ETH (approximately $96,000).
After the sale, Buterin transferred assets worth 70 ETH (approximately $304,000) to a new wallet identified as affiliated with the Ethereum Foundation.
This transfer was done through a proprietary protocol called Railgun, which enhances user privacy. Railgun is known for its ability to encrypt transactions on the blockchain and hide sender and recipient addresses.
This development is seen as a continuation of Buterin’s recent surge in on-chain activity. This well-known developer has previously attracted the attention of the cryptocurrency community with various token sales and wallet movements.
Although analysts note that Buterin’s moves will not have a direct impact on the market, his activities in the Ethereum ecosystem are being closely watched by investors.
Neither Vitalik Buterin nor the Ethereum Foundation have released any public statements regarding the transaction in question.
