Ethereum (ETH) prices rose above the $4,600 mark on Tuesday, reaching an intraday peak of $4,629 per Delibit token. Over the past 24 hours, ether has increased by 8% against the US dollar, up almost 28% over the week.
ETH burns to $4.6K, just 7% off the historic high
There are no signs of slowing down at the rally. Since January 1, 2025, Bitcoin (BTC) has advanced by more than 28%, while Ethereum has earned more than 38% over the same period. At 4:22pm in Eastern, in centralized exchange DeLibit, the ether was trading at $4,604, giving the assets a market valuation of $549 billion. It is currently within a notable distance until November 10, 2021, with a lower 7% high of $4,878, due to regaining that milestone.
When ETH was valued at 0.082 BTC since September 10, 2022, its price fell to 0.019 BTC by April 19, 2025. However, due to its low it doubled to 0.038 BTC. During the slump, Ethereum faced tough competition with networks such as Solana, and even Bitcoin began to infiltrate ETH-driven sectors such as inappropriate tokens (NFTs) and distributed finance (DEFIs).
Ethereum taps $4,600 as the Bulls set the sights at $6K
Now, Ethereum is beginning to chip with an influx of Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) and Bitcoin’s lead in the holdings of the Ministry of Corporate Finance. With prices rising on Tuesday, ETH saw a liquidation of around $144.55 million, including $107.19 million on Ether Short Positos alone. By 4:22pm ET, ETH had surpassed the $37,574 million liquidation that day. X predicts that Ethereum will be much higher with increasing user choruses.
