Crypto Exchange Gate has announced Gate Fun, an on-chain platform that allows users to issue and trade tokens without coding. The platform runs on a gate layer and builds the company’s recently launched Layer-2 network based on the OP stack.
GATE claims that users can create tokens within a minute by paying a small gasoline fee with GT, the network’s native token.
Like the popular token launcher pump, token parameters such as name, symbols and initial purchase options can be customized via the one-click interface.
Gate Fun can be accessed through Web3 wallets such as Metamask and Gate’s own account system. Tokens launched on the platform can be traded across multiple gate products, including Gate Alpha, Meme Go, and Swap
The Gate Fun debut comes just after Gate Uneded Gate Layer, a high-performance Layer-2 rollup in which Gate is built by GateChain and built on Anchored. Alongside Gate Fun, Gate has introduced other applications on the network, including Perp, Perpetuals Trading Hub, Meme Go, and Meme token trackers.
The GT is currently trading at $16.23, slipping about 1.9% over the past 24 hours.
