Mind Network, a privacy-focused blockchain infrastructure provider, announced the launch of x402z testnet, a confidential agent-to-agent payments solution designed for the AI economy. The product targets a key limitation of public blockchains: full transparency of transactions is inconsistent with the operational needs of autonomous AI agents.
This solution was developed in collaboration with ZAMA, an encryption company specializing in fully homomorphic encryption. x402z combines FHE and ERC-7984 Confidential Token standards to enable on-chain payments without revealing transaction amounts, balances, or strategic intent. Verification remains trustless, but sensitive economic data remains encrypted.
The x402z model allows validators to check the accuracy of transactions without accessing the underlying values. Observers can see that a payment has been made, but cannot infer its purpose or size. This approach maintains a trusted ledger without broadcasting commercially sensitive signals.
