Moonbirds plans to launch its native token BIRB on Solana in early Q1 2026, as confirmed by Spencer Gordon-Sand, CEO of Orange Cap Games, the parent company of the NFT project.
“Our native token is expected to launch in early Q1 2026 as Web3’s PopMart pursues growth towards multi-billion dollar companies with multi-billion dollar revenues like PopMart,” Spencer said at Solana Breakpoint 2025.
Orange Cap Games acquired Moonbirds IP in May as part of its core mission of enabling NFT intellectual property through consumer products and games.
The company, now in its second year of operation, is on track to generate about $8 million in revenue this year and projects about $20 million in revenue next year based on current distributor commitments, Spencer said.
The Web3 startup has already found success with its Pudgy Penguins trading card game, Vibes, which has generated approximately $6 million in revenue over the past 12 months. Moonbirds IP will join Vibes’ trading card game offering next year, Spencer said.
Orange Cap Games has secured distribution partnerships with major traditional collectible distributors such as GTS and Star City Games. The company also partners with CGC and PSA in the grading field.
