Pump.fun is a meme coin creation platform on the Solana network. mayhem mode (“Chaos or Violence Mode” in English), which allows artificial intelligence (AI) agents to bid on newly minted tokens.
Chaos Mode is designed to foster new cryptocurrency projects. To do this, an AI agent is used that operates for the first 24 hours after the coin is tossed.
This feature is available in Terminal (formerly known as the Further app). Trading platform acquired by pump.fun at the end of Octoberas told by CriptoNoticias, is the main generator of the Solana meme coin.
This agent randomly buys and sells tokens to generate volume and volatility, which helps newly created projects gain visibility and attract more traders.
To do this, agents generate an additional 1 billion tokens, doubling the total supply to 2 billion. “There is no guarantee that agents will exchange all coins with chaos mode enabled,” they revealed from pump.fun.
These tokens are only used for agent operations within 24 hours. At the end of that time, Unsold tokens will be burned. Agents can only trade coins created in chaos mode and cannot activate this feature if the asset is already in circulation.
The system aims to provide small projects with a “fairer opportunity” to grow within the ecosystem. Provides traders with a dynamic environment to identify early opportunities.
Please note that Chaos Mode is currently a beta feature, subject to change before official release, and only available to a limited number of users.
“Chaos Mode is a permissionless feature currently available experimentally on mainnet,” said the Solana-based project team.
Pump.fun warns that “virtual currencies that enable chaos mode may be risky, as this is an early beta and requires testing and experimentation in a production environment.”
