Ripplex has released major updates to its XRP ledger, which developers call the “strongest single lineup of fixes.” Version 2.5.0 of the network’s core software, Rippled, is currently live and not just a round of patches.
This upgrade brings new features people have been waiting for, fixing some edge cases that have been an issue for a while, and showing the hard work that various teams have put in.
One of the great things we added is Tokenescrow. This allows you to use escrow with Ious and multipurpose tokens. Batch is another important feature that allows you to group and execute transactions in a single step, making complex DAPP operations easier.
Another interesting thing is the permitted dex. This opens the door to a decentralized exchange that is compliant and has access control. PermissionDelegation is worth mentioning as it allows users to safely delegate account privileges, making multi-user wallets and account automation more viable.
Huge advances – praise to Mayuka and all the developers who contributed to this release!

Not only features, but upgrades also enhance the protocol. The full package also includes plenty of backend improvements, including enhanced relay logic, stricter RPC operations, faster transaction throughput, and smarter validator message handling.
The Ripplex engineering team has stopped supporting older compilers, making it easier to use the latest build systems.
For developers, exchanges and ecosystem contributors, this is a major step towards how flexible, programmable and compliant an XRP ledger can be, and how flexible, programmable and compliant can be without affecting its performance or decentralization.
These changes have been made available for votes, so operators are being urged to upgrade as soon as possible. To make changes over the network, you need at least 80% of the validators that give green light over weeks.
