Tron (TRX) is partnering with Kraken in a move that can further enhance its reliability through the Tron Super Lisplaistant (SR) team. In an X post shared with over 3.8 million followers, Tron founder Justin Sun celebrated the alliance.
Kraken joins Tron’s Super Representative Network
In particular, the collaboration aims to strengthen the decentralization of the Tron Blockchain network despite the calls for additional partnerships. Sun said, “Kraken has arrived too, who will be next?”

For perspective, the alliance follows the decision to hire Kraken from the Tron SR team. In the Tron ecosystem, 27 SRs are selected by the community to oversee certain critical functions. These include participating in governance decisions, validating transactions, and creating blocks.
Overall, SRS acts as the backbone of Tron’s distributed networks. Therefore, Kraken, a well-known code exchange, has added the team to show general approval of the Tron ecosystem.
Globally, Kraken is one of the longest-established and regulated crypto exchanges. Recognised for security, technical reliability and compliance with regulatory guidelines. By supporting Tron in the alliance, the agency shows that it considers Tron as a serious blockchain platform.
The alliance may catalyze more institutions to partner with Tron. As Kraken is already attracted to Tron’s governance model, other major institutions may also consider looking into the blockchain direction.
Can this alliance shake up the SEC’s perception?
In particular, the alliance may help the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) see Tron from a new perspective. In the past, the SEC sued Justinsan because regulators had levelled allegations of misconduct against Tron.
The development had a negative impact on the price of TRX in the cryptocurrency space. However, the parties resolved the issue with willingness to negotiate. The lawsuit is currently pending and the Sun remains on pause, which is benefiting the public.
