XRP ledgers will become the central stage of tokenized finance in Apex 2025
Ripple’s flagship summit, Apex 2025, has seen an institutional momentum surge in, revealing that XRP Ledger (XRPL)’s growth role in global finance is equipped with stubcoin, tokenized Treasury and compliance capabilities. The event, held from June 10-12, brought together builders, researchers and financial leaders to showcase XRPL’s 13-year journey and institutional adoption.

From unlocking all new compliance-focused capabilities and institutional use cases to ridiculous and tokenized government bonds, XRP ledgers have evolved to meet modern financial needs without undermining the public’s decentralized foundations.
Ripple CTO David Schwartz and head of Ripplex’s product Jazzi Cooper highlighted the shift towards XRPL tokenized assets and Stablecoins. Zhu Kuang Lee of HSBC and Fiona Murray of Ripple discussed HSBC’s blockchain integration on Asset tokenization and institutional custody. Ripple President Monica Long, CEO Brad Garlinghouse, and Global Finance & Technology Network’s Pat Patel looked at Asia-Pacific leadership in blockchain growth and looked into global regulations.
The key announcements reflect the institutional pivot of XRPL. Ondo Finance’s Tokenized US Treasuries (OUSG) has begun with RLUSD payments. The Stablecoin panel with Michael Higgins and Bitstamp on Hidden Road by Leonard Hoh of Robinhood examined the global application of RLUSD. The addition of USDC, EURøp, XSGD, RLUSD and USDB has increased liquidity and compliance. Guggenheim Treasury Services and Zeconomy have introduced Digital Commercial Paper (DCP), rated Prime-1 by Moody’s, to enhance XRPL’s real-world asset offering.
Ubri Connect, held with Apex, convened more than 160 academic leaders at the National University of Singapore. During the 36-hour hackathon, a team of students led the XRPL mainnet deployment and introduced the next generation of blockchain innovations. XRPL is at the heart of tokenized finance thanks to its high level of compliance and programmerism.
